MEET KIMBERLY
Consultant, Author, Blogger
I hail from the Palmetto State of South Carolina. A native of Andrews, SC, but currently residing in Pawleys Island. Yes, I'm a beach girl. I love the smell of the ocean and sitting on the beach, hearing the waves crash as the sun shines over my legs with my feet in the sand; all, while reading a good book. Yes, in an ideal world this would happen. But hey! Who lives in an ideal world?

As a mother of two, wife, educator, and entrepreneur, I don't get to sit on the beach with my favorite books often. However, after many life altering events, I received the signs to drive my passion into my purpose. So here I am, living my purpose driven by my passion.

Serving as a consultant for EL Education and my personal firm, MissEducation Educational Consulting Firm, I work with educators and parents to help them be the best they can be for the children they serve.

With my love for writing, I was finally convinced to share my thoughts and words with the world. My love for children and children's literature has evolved stories that were hidden in notebooks and hard-drives throughout my home. And, I Do...Then What? has been a re-launch of a communicative blog with my husband and I that describes the good, bad, and ugly of life after marriage.

Being a creative spirit, you may find me doing just about anything to motivate, encourage and support others. I'm just glad that God has shown me how my passion can help you drive your purpose and mine.

Being who you are takes less effort than being someone else.

I am a proud alumni of South Carolina State University where I obtained a Bachelor of Science Degree in Elementary Education with a minor in English.

After graduating from SCSU, I decided to make Greensboro, NC my home. While teaching, I also obtained a Master of Education Degree in Elementary Education with a concentration in Curriculum and Instruction with an add-on certification in reading.

After marriage, relocation and children, in 2013 I decided to head back to school. After much thought and consideration, I enrolled in Arkansas State University and in 2014 I received an Educational Specialist Degree in Educational Leadership.
